Jim Thorpe all American Beligium '51

Jim Thorpe - All American (also released as "Man of Bronze"), the 1951 Michael Curtiz (one of the greatest and least heralded directors of all time!; he began directing in his native Hungary in 1912 under the name of "Mihaly Kertesz"; after 64 movies, he was signed by Warner Bros. and moved to the United States where he made many of the most memorable Warner Bros. movies of the 1930s and 1940s, including both "Casablanca" and "Yankee Doodle Dandy" in the very same year!; yet because he did not have a distinctive directorial style, he is rarely talked about by film critics) romantic Olympic decathlon sports track-and-field football baseball melodrama ("He wore America's heart over his!"; "Everyone's hero - and one woman's idol! - An entertainment glorious as the grand guy it glorifies!"; "Glorious as the grand guy it glorifies!"; "He wore America's heart over his!"; "Jim Thorpe - Technical Advisor"; "For All America to cheer..."; "Master of them all!"; "Everyone's hero -- and one woman's idol!"; a fictionalized biography of Native American Jim Thorpe, the greatest athlete of all time, even though he was stripped of his Olympic medals) starring Burt Lancaster (in the title role as Jim Thorpe, the famous Olympic Decathalon sports champion who was stripped of his medals, played professional baseball AND football, and who made a few movies), Charles Bickford, Steve Cochran, Phyllis Thaxter, Dick Wesson, and Jack Big Head
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 18 3/4" [37 x 48 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
Overall Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards).
