Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, the 1981 (released in the U.S. in 1982) George Miller Australian post-apocalyptic action science fiction (sci-fi) thriller sequel ("Just one man can make a difference."; "In the future, cities will become deserts, roads will become battlefields and the hope of mankind will appear as a stranger."; "When all that's left is one last chance, pray that he's still out there ...somewhere!"; "'An Astonishing Action Masterpiece.'"; "Mad Max meets the challenge!"; "Written by Terry Hayes, George Miller with Brian Hannart") starring Mel Gibson (who has recently made major headlines, unfortunately in a negative way, and unrelated to his movie roles!; in the title role), Bruce Spence, Michael Preston, Max Phipps, Vernon Wells, and Dog. Note that this movie was first released in Australia as a sequel to Mad Max, and was titled Mad Max 2. The movie was a giant hit and distributors wanted to release it in the U.S., but since the first movie had only had a very limited release in the U.S., they re-titled it so as to not confuse audiences (but they printed a limited number of "Mad Max 2" one-sheets in the U.S., which are far more rare than the "The Road Warrior" U.S. one-sheets).

Overall Condition: fair to good. There is rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture and sunlight. There is a large credits snipe across the bottom and there is a rating snipe at lower left.
